Michael Jordan Logoman sells at over for over $2.9 million
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nb...N-auction.html
The legacy of Michael Jordan shows no signs of slowing down, after a trading card bearing his signature sold for nearly $3million at auction this weekend.
MJ is widely regarded as the best NBA player of all-time, and fans clamored to get their hands on a rare piece of memorabilia through Goldin this weekend.
Up for auction was a 2003 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Michael Jordan Signed Logoman, and it ended up smashing all records to sell for an eyewatering $2,928,000 to an as-yet-unnamed buyer.
Nine bids were made on the one-of-one piece of memorabilia, Goldin confirmed, with the auction going past 10pm as collectors fought it out for the item.
The winning bid - which was $2.4m, bumped up to $2.9m with buyer's premium - was made shortly before midnight.

That is an incredible amount for any card to sell for.
I was looking at what a box of Upper Deck Ultimate Collection cards sell for from that year.
I found this on Ebay for just over $10,000. That is for just 16 cards in 4 packs.
