2016 Topps Heritage Minor League Baseball Hobby Box for review
2016 Topps Heritage Minor League Baseball
First and foremost, I'd like to thank our sponsors at Topps for providing us with this box.
This set is a great set for old time set collectors who love the older cards without paying the hefty price of putting an old set together. In addition, I think the TTM guys and girls who love to do TTM (thru the mail) or seek in person autographs will love these cards. They offer a nice option instead of making custom cards or finding oddballs to get signed by the particular athlete.
This year the 2016 Topps Heritage Minor League Baseball goes back and uses the 1967 Topps set design. The base set consist of 225 cards with the later 25 being short prints.
So if you love the design of the original 1967 Topps Set you will love this product.
The checklist can be found here:

Current Retail Price (online) $40 to $55 a box
With this product there is no suspense, as next year they will be using 1968 Topps design and so on. So as a collector, I guess you could wait until they come out with the design you truly love if this set design does not work for you.
Also, there two chances per box to win a cool contest called Make Your Pro Debut .
The 2015 promotion winner, Christian Byrnes, made his debut with the Durham Bulls this April and:
- Received his own locker in the Bulls clubhouse, fully equipped with a game uniform and equipment
- Participated in pre-game warm-ups and batting practice
- Presented the lineup card at home plate
- Threw the ceremonial first pitch
