The 39th annual National Sports Collectors Convention is coming to Cleveland August™1st-5th, and if you are reading this blog you™know this is the World Series or the Super Bowl of sports cards and memorabilia conventions! No matter what type of collector you are, you will be able to find something at the National to take home! Plus it’s always a great time to meet up with long distance collecting friends as everyone converges into one place for the week! Then there are all the ‘extracurricular’ activities like the amazing list of celebrities and athletes to get autographs and pictures from, the exclusive cards and swag, and of course the VIP parties from the like of Panini and Upper Deck!
There are so many amazing promotions being run by the trading card manufacturers that many collectors pay for their entire trips just from what they get for free! Looking ahead the National returns to Chicago next year for the 40th Anniversary and then it’s on to Atlantic City for 2020! Myself and the #DANationalRoadCrew are ready to get rocking in Cleveland later this Summer!
